VMS Lite is one of the best low or no cost options for monitoring home security cameras. With that said, it has many issues.
1. I couldn't figure out which version I have. I'm from the era of clicking "help>about" to see software versions. That info seems nowhere in this.
2. When opening, cameras just populate whatever windows. They can't be assigned. Cam drops out, is reconnected, view goes wherever.
3. If a wireless cam loses connection, the view can freeze. Might think you're looking at realtime, but no, it's a still image. Have a red dot appear to alert that the feed stopped, PLEASE.
4. No support for two application windows, no resizing or organizing view windows.
Other than those notable shortfalls, it's excellent.
